PM1000™ PIPE AND POLE GRAPPLE

Yes. The PM1000 provides continuous 360° rotation in two ways. It can grab a pole in a horizontal position and rotate it to vertical. This allows the operator to grab poles from racks, trucks, or from the ground and hold in place in any positional axis.

With the belt-driven Pole Rotate System, the PM1000 can also rotate the pole within its grip. This allows the operator to make fine alignment adjustments without repositioning the crane or prime mover.

The PM1000 features an integrated Pole Rotate System™ that allows the operator to rotate a pole while it is securely gripped. This makes it possible to precisely index and align the pole during installation, such as orienting curved ends, fixtures, or mounting features in the required direction before setting.

Unlike attachments that only rotate the grapple itself, the PM1000 actively rotates the pole within its grip, giving the operator controlled, predictable alignment throughout the lift and set.

Precise pole indexing ensures that curved ends, bolt patterns, lighting fixtures, and other orientation-specific features are positioned correctly before the pole is set. This reduces rework, prevents misalignment, and helps installations meet specification on the first attempt.

This also minimizes the need for ground crews to manually guide or reposition the pole during installation.

The PM1000 is designed for use with most knuckle boom cranes and prime movers. It connects to the crane truck or prime mover’s existing hydraulic and electrical systems, allowing it to integrate into standard utility and construction workflows.
